Manisha is an investigations correspondent and the visual forensics lead at The Guardian. She is a pioneer in open-source investigations (OSI) to expose war crimes

Her PhD was the first academic study into the impact of OSINT on investigative journalism and crisis reporting, funded by the University of Westminster. She has lectured at Oxford University, Princeton University, and the Stockholm School of Economics.

Manisha is a European Press Prize laureate, two-time Amnesty International Media Award winner, a Forbes Under 30 media honouree, and serves as a judge for the News & Documentary Emmy® Awards. Her investigations have resulted in EU and US sanctions, and been cited by the United Nations Security Council, the UK Houses of Parliament, Human Rights Watch, and other international organisations.
